A Cunico reunion was held 24 June 1984 in Marseilles, Illinois. Thomas LaVerne Cunico hosted the event at his home. Jean Sheperd Cunico (wife of Charles) organized the event.

The reunion was primarily a get together of the families of the five children (boys) of Christopher Modesto Cunico and Louella Elizabeth Barth, but other Cunico family members attended.

Mary Parkins is the daughter of Ferdinand (Frederick) Cunico. Ferfinand is the son of Fortunato Cunico (brother of my Antonio Modesto Cunico). Mary Lee Mairet Schnoor is the daughter of Mary Fortunata Cunico, who was the daughter of Antonio Modesto. Henry Sommer is the son of Anna Frida Bohn. She was the daughter of Fortunato Cunico & Anna Marie Bohn.
